Verite by Le Faguays
Wonderful large genuine 1930's Le Verrier art metal lady lamp with green patina and original shade. Mounted on a verdigris (green) marble stepped base. Total heigh is 26 inches (68cm) and it is signed to the metal Fayral (a pseudonym used by Pierre Le Faguays on most of his Le Verrier art metal pieces.) Condition is very good with just a few minor marks, one to her stomach and it has been rewired taking the wire straight up to the globe instead of through her body as it would have been originally. A really stunning and large Lamp.

Bunting Yacht Lamp
This large yacht lamp was originally a fire and was known as the Bunting Yacht Fire. It has now been professionally converted for use as a lamp, although I still have an original fire version of the same item. I have a choice of bulbs, this one, a short coloured bulb in the picture, or a long tube bulb which extends half way up the sail. It has a chrome sail with chrome deck and ebonised black hull. I also have a pair of very similar yacht lamps but with cream enamel hulls if a pair is required. They look stunning standing on a fire hearth and give off a nice warm glow. It measures a large 29 inches high by 26 inches wide at its widest sail point. Condition is extremely good on all three.

Pico Plaque by Maurice Picaud
This is the famous Pico Plaque in guilt gesso with an oak frame. I have no specific and guaranteed information on these plaques, except that the original plaque, which is a huge concrete version above the Folies Bergere building in Paris was designed by Maurice Picaud (Pico) - that much I can confirm is true. He was a French architect, interior designer and one time designer for Ruhlmann furniture who created the dancing lady facade over the entrance to the Folies Bergere building in Paris in 1926. The facade depicts the dancer Lila Nikolska, who posed for the sculpture. Pico's name appears in the Follies Bergere official website, and a comprehensive account of this decoration can be found in the book by Gilles Neret - The Arts of the 20's, plate 13. From there on it gets a little fuzzy! There are currently 2 differing accounts on how the plaques were made, and neither are confirmed. Approx 25 inches square (64cm). For more information about Pico and the famous Pico Plaques, please go to my page dedicated to Maurice Picaud, go to the miscellaneous section, page 1 and click the highlighted link 'Maurice Picaud'. This will take you to a separate page on the website. Condition is good with aging to the gilding on the plaque. I have seen these plaques make a lot more than I am asking and one made as much as £7000! My price however is £2000 and it will not be around for long.
