Keramia Mask by Dakon
This stunning mask was designed by Stephan Dakon in the 1930's for Keramia and it bears the stamp on the reverse. Very good condition with just 2 tiny flea chips to rim of her hat. Measures 8 inches (20cm) high.

Wall Mask by Podony
Stunning, lifelike terracotta mask designed by Podony for Keramos. Beautifully hand painted in typical Podony style. Measures 9 inches (23cm) high and in excellent condition with just a tiny edge chip to the inner back rim, possibly from new.

Flapper Wall Pockets

Goldscheider Wall Mask
1930's Goldscheider, Wien, mask of beautiful lady measuring approx. 11 inches (28cm) high and with an indistinct Goldscheider, Wien mark plus model number 8041, made in 1939. The same mask in different colours can be viewed in the Goldscheider book. This mask suffers from two internal cracks to the inside back, one is a firing crack from new and neither show from the front nor are they through to the front.

Stunning French Fireplace
Original French wooden fire surround, with stepped top pillars and bowed, scalloped edge mantel shelf. To the centre is a scene of stylised floral carving with a stag and dog hunting scene. The hearth is of black slate and extremely heavy. At some time it has been repainted and I leave it to the new owner to either tidy the few scuffs and marks or to paint the colour of their choice to suite the room. To complement the fireplace there is also a more recent shelf unit that can be fitted to one side if required, this has been professionally made in style with the fireplace having a similar castle column to one end. Condition is very good with a few scuff marks, the slate base has been broken at some time and repaired from underneath with some slabs of granite, it is sound and solid. The crack is visible though but could be easily disguised once in place. The fireplace measures 46 inches wide by 55 high (116cm x 140cm), internal opening measurement is 40.5 inches x 33 (103cm x 84cm). The additional shelving is 39.5 inches plus column is 10 inches (100cm x 21cm). Slate base is 5cm thick. The hearth depth is 20 inches (5cm). Although the additional shelving is made for the left it would be fairly simply to adjust it to go to the right.
