Deco/Nouveau Picture Frames
Wonderful set of 3 original, plain moulded oak framed photographs of a Belgian family, but with a lovely original gold mount with deco/nouveau motif. This series of 3 pictures appear to be a family living around the late nouveau/early deco period. Whenever I place a newly acquired artwork in an old original frame, I try to keep the original print/photo in the frame, behind the new work, for posterity. Sold only for the frame and mount, the photo of the unknown person is free. 20 inches wide and 24 inches deep.

Deco Picture Frame
1920's oak framed photograph of a Belgian Soldier, but with a lovely original deco mount with deco motif and original retailers name and details printed. Gilt floral moulding around the frame and with just a chip to the moulding in the bottom left corner, otherwise good condition. Modelled as a stylised spelter deer mounted on a brass base with impressed leaf detail and surmounted by another dish which currently supports a heavy glass plant holder.
