
The Famous Lemanceau Elephant
A French stylised ceramic elephant in almost cubist form, he is the St. Clement factory elephant, designed by Lemanceau and the same one as shown on the cover of the Witte Keramische Dieren book. He measures 9 inches wide and 7 inches high (23 x 18cm), and is signed under the glaze, on his back leg, although not very apparent. Condition is very good, with just a few tiny pinhead nibbles to the glaze and a few tiny underglaze marks from new.

Ceramic Lady Bust
Beautiful lady bust measuring 7.5 inches (19cm) high and finely hand painted. Under the base are the initials G. M. and foreign. Condition is very good with just a tiny mark on her chin. Email me quoting ref number for more close up pics of this lovely bust.

Stylised Fishes by Le Jan
Wonderful turquoise crackleglaze fishgroup designed by Le Jan and signed to the base. Produced by the St Clement factory during the 1920s-1930s. They measure 15 inches high by 14 inches wide (38x36cm) and are in very good condition with no damage or repairs. This item can be viewed in the Craqueliers book, page 52.

Whacky Duck
A stylised French craquelier comical duck, made by the St Clement factory, designed by Lemenceau and signed faintly on the base. He measures approx 17.5 inches long and 9 inches high (43 x 23 cm). He can be viewed on page 37 of the Craquelier Book. Condition is excellent.

Orchies Pierot & Columbine by Dax
CH635: Lovely French ceramic pierot figure measuring 14 inches (36cm) high and signed to the base, stamped under with Orchies Moulin des Loups Hommage, France plus the Orchies windmill mark. Condition is very good with just a small chip to the right hand back corner. £395
CH636: This is the matching Orchies columbine, this one only bearing the Dax mark. She measures 13.5 inches high (34cm) and is in good condition, with just a slight mark to the side of the foot of the base and a slight colour difference to her arm, I believe from new. No apparent repairs. SOLD

Awakening by Chiparus
Large and famous terracotta nude, made in the 1930's by Demetre Chiparus. This same statue can be viewed in the Chiparus book, page 63. Signed to the base, condition is very good with a scratch mark to her side, but no damage or repairs. Measures 23.5 inches tall, 17.5 inches wide and 9.75 inches deep (60x45x25cm).
