This miscellaneous section includes other jewellery and vanity items, some glass scent bottles, watches and items which do not easily fit into the other sections. Most are of the period but some items are contemporary and will be described as such.
A lovely leaded cut glass atomiser spray scent bottle. The condition is
good but there is some ageing to the metal top and the squeezer is in
need of repacement.
A lovely purple leaded glass perfume spray. Condition is good but it needs
a new puffer.
A cast metal jewellery/cigarette box - probably spelter, from the Deco period with the
detail of a lady smoking on the lid. Perhaps it was a cigarette box. It
is lined in a green bais, and the condition is very good, but there is a
slight warping to one side of the lid which is hardly noticeable.
This lovely photo frame is only 3 inches tall, it is French and made of
metal. There are a few minor age marks on the surface which can be seen in
the photo.
Original 1920s manicure tools with celluloid holder and incorporating a pencil in one end, which measures approx. 2.5 inches long. Condition is good but some of the screw thread to one end has broken off. Still in working condition.
Lovely black velvet bag wih beading and yellow bakelite handles, measuring 10.5 inches (27cm) high. In pretty good condition with a few minor lipstick marks to the back.
1920s celluloid, lidded pot for pins with hall marked silver plated 'Pins' nameplate to the lid. Measures 2.25 inches (5.5cm) diameter. Condition is good.
Lovely 1930s hand made oyster shell shaped brown crochet bag with twisted lucite handles. Measures 16 inches wide and 12 inches high (41x31cm). It has zip centre and is lined in a pearlised silk. Condition is very good with just the stitching on one side of the zip could do with a re-sew.
Rare Cream and black celluloid veneer and chrome hat pins. They measure between a large 5.5 inches long (14cm) and 4.5 inches (11.5cm). In good used vintage condition.
