Leaping Ibex by De Marco
This French art metal deer was made by the Le Verrier foundry during the 1930s and is the Atalante deer from the Group Atalante. It measures 13 inches high and 17 inches long (33x43cm). Signed on the stepped stone base. Condition is good but I believe it may have been repatinated at some time as I have never seen another one in this metallic bronze finish. The base has a large corner chip and a smaller chip behind the feet.
