Spelter Dancer
Gold patinated spelter dancer 11.5 inches (29cm) high, mounted on an ovular alabaster and onyx base. Condition is not perfect as there is a mark around her right arm which I believe is an old repair. Priced accordingly at £175

Grape Dancer
Lovely spelter nude dancing with grapes made by the Le Verrier foundry in the 1920s-1930s, and designed by Denis - famous for his scarf dancer and Danseuse au Boules figures. She measures 12.5 inches (32cm) high, including the alabster base. Signed in the metal base. Condition is very good.

'Russe' by Le Verrier
Lovely boy and panther group by Max Le Verrier and produced in his own factory during the 1920s-30s. Green patinated spelter and mounted on a stepped stone base baring the signature. 25.5 inches long, 6.5 inches deep and 14 inches high (65x16x36cm). I love this piece as it so beautifully captures youth turning to manhood, as the boy has not yet grown into his hands and feet - Max Le Verrier at his best.

Large Disc Dancer by Derenne
This stunning green patinated spelter dancer is known as Danse Paienne and this is the largest version - rarely available (I have several small ones). Derenne was a pseudonym used by Marcel Bouraine and this piece was made in the 1920s/30s by the famous Le Verrier foundry - owned and run by Max Le Verrier. 19 inches high (48cm) and signed Derenne to the metal base plate. The pyramid base is of black marble and condition is very good with some minor patina wear and there is a slight mark across her toes which may be the start of a stress crack.
