Large Olympie by Le Faguays
This stunning French art metal statue was made by the Le Verrier foundry in the 1930s and was designed by Pierre Le Faguays. Signed Fayral to the base, (Fayral was a pseudonym used by Le Faguays), this wonderful large statue has lots of movement, as is common with this sculptors work. She has a dark green patina and stands on a stepped granite base. Condition is excellent. This is the larger of the two sizes of this statue and measures 20.5 (51cm) high.
