 'On the Prowl'
A large French spelter lioness measuring nearly 24 inches long and 6 inches deep. The cat has a dark green patina in very good condition although the marble base may be a replacement, hence the absence of a signature. A nice big cat for an affordable price.

 The Toga Dancer by Carlier
This lovely French spelter dancing lady, wearing a toga dress is the larger version of the famous Toga Dancer. She is very similar to the Godard bubble dancer who dances in a similar pose and also wears a toga. This piece measures a large 20 inches high and is mounted on a stepped base of Portorro and cream marble. It is signed Carlier to the lower step. Condition is very good with just a few minor marble nicks, but this piece has been painted with gold paint, hence reduced price. Ref: F2362 . . . £795 |
 Torchere Lady
A lovely French spelter nude lady with a sash around her waist and holding a torchere in her hand. She measures a large 19 inches high. The base is of top hat style and made of alabaster. Condition is extremely good and she has her original cold painted gold enamel finish with a hint of red in her hair and a silver flame to the torchere. I have this same figure holding a lamp.
