Hoop Dancer by Fayral
A French spelter Le Verrier dancer by Fayral - a pseudonym of Pierre Le Faguays (see information on artists page for more info). She was made during the 1920s and is signed Fayral to the metal base, and has a green patina and holds a bronze hoop. Total height is 9.5 inches. The base is a wedge shaped piece of black marble with a base plate of onyx. Condition is very good.

Smokers Set by Nuart
A nice quality smokers set in the manner of a pair of nude ladies supporting its original green glass lidded cigarette box with a matching green glass ashtray. The spelter ladies are of nice crisp quality, and the glass parts are immaculate, as is the bronze patinated stepped metal frame. It measures 9.5 inches wide, 8.5 inches deep and height is 8 inches. A lovely piece in immaculate original condition, and signed Nuart, USA under the glass dish.

Le Verrier Horse
Lovely, green patinated running horse made during the 1920s by the Le Verrier foundry, Paris and designed by Max Le Verrier - the sculptor and foundry owner. Mounted on a stone base and signed on the right hand end, he measures approx. 22 inches long and 11 inches high (56x28cm). Condition is good but at some time the support arm at the back looks like it may have been strengthened with extra welding, hence £695

Hagenauer Style Golfer Striker
Lovely stylised chrome striker (cigarette lighter) in the form of a golfer. Base is of wood and measures 6 x 3 inches (15x7.5cm) and height is 5.5 inches (14cm). It is stamped Made in England and in excellent condition.

Hagenauer Style Golfer Striker
Another, slightly smaller stylised chrome striker (cigarette lighter) in the form of a golfer. Base is of wood and measures 2.5 inches square (6cm) and height is 5 inches (12cm). In very good condition.

'Escapade' by Fayrall
Another re-issue, this one measuring 10 inches high and signed on the metal base with the foundry stamp. Excellent condition.

'Liese' by Fayral
Another dancer by Fayral and made by the Le Verrier foundry - this piece is a recent re-issue made in the original molds with the original materials and is consequently identical to the original 1920s version, but as you would expect, in immaculate condition. She measures approx 12 inches high and is mounted on a square marble base measuring 3.5 inches square. She is signed to the metal and also has the Le Verrier foundry stamp.
