 'Group Atlante' by De Marco
Take a look at this stunning piece, the ultimate Diane, measuring a huge 38 inches
across the base. The base is of a granite stone and the lady measures
approx 30 inches to the tip of her bow. Although this is a spelter group,
one could be forgiven for believing it was a bronze, as the weight and
quality are that of a bronze. It is very similar to figures produced by the
Le Verrier foundry by artists such as Fayral. This is a HUGE Deco statement
at a reasonable price! If this piece is too long for the sidebord or mantle piece you have in mind, then email me as I have 2 others of this same De
Marco Diane but without the leaping Ibex, and so the bases are shorter.

Queen of the Sea by Mellani
A large and very unusual figural group, signed by the artist Mellani. The lady
sits on a wave directing her cat fish (or are they dolphins?). She has a
silvered patina and black and gold dress detailing. This is another very
large piece measuring approx 31 inches across the length of the marble and
onyx base. The condition is very good.

In wonderful condition, this signed figural group by the artist 'Menneville' was made in France of spelter and Ivoreen and is signed on the right hand end of the base. The costume detailing is of green and gold and she sits 13 inches high and is mounted on a 23 inch base. The base is made of Black Belgian marble and green onyx and is approx 10 inches deep.
The only minor fault is a very fine hairline crack to the surface of the
onyx.

 Cymbol Dancer
A very stylish French, tall spelter cymbal dancer. An unsigned piece with a
silvered patina, with the Paris foundry coin stamp on the back. She
measures approx 17 inches high, and is mounted on a circular base with a
diam. of approx 4 and a half inches. Condition is pretty good but there are
some signs that she may have been knocked over at some time as there is a
chip on the edge lip of the marble and she has had a small (hardly
noticeable) repair to her bottom, hence priced accordingly at £520

Bird Dancer by Bouraine
This lovely statue was made by the Le Verrier foundry, Paris in the 1930s. She has a green patina and is signed around the metal base - Briand. Briand and Dereene were both pseudonyms used by Marcel Bouraine. She measures approx. 11.5 inches (29cm) high including the black marble base and condition is good although the tail on the bird looks a little short, so she may have lost a bit at some time although you cannot see any break.
