Lady and Rag Doll by 'Scolis'
A real beauty by 'Scolis' and signed on the base. French and made of spelter, this very unusual figure has wonderful detailing, notably the way her dress spreads across the brown marble base. She is wearing lovely shoes with bows, and clutches a rag doll. The base measures 22 inches (56cm) in length and she is 13 inches (33cm) high.

 'The Gift'
A wonderful quality French spelter lady and child group. The little girl is offering a bunch of flowers to the lady. This piece is in exceptional condition, having all the original patina and black and gold enamelling to the clothing. The base is a work of art in itself - with a myriad of mixed marbles - Portorro Extra, black & white striated, cream and brown onyx in a host of amazing shapes to create a seated base for the whole scene. It measures 20.5 inches long and 6 inches deep by 15 inches high.

Dove Lady
This lovely figure is again French and made of spelter. It is by the artist 'Godard', but unsigned. It has a wonderful brown & black marble with cream onyx base measuring 31 inches (79cm) long and the figure is approx 13 inches (33cm) tall.

Impressive Fisherman
Why do I never see anything like him on Calais Beach? This is another
large French Spelter Male figure. This time a Fisherman in his swimming
trunks, pulling in his netted catch. (If only I were a fish!) It is
unsigned but probably by Joe de Roncourt, he is 20 inches tall and
stands on rocks, which are mounted on a large 26 inch cream onyx and
black marble base.

'Rockman'
French spelter man with a light bronze patina levering a lump of marble, mounted on a black and brown marble base. 29 inches (74cm) long and approx 15 inches (38cm) high - and a really chunky chap!

Powerful Panther by Prost
This green patinated bronzed spelter panther is a signed piece by M. Prost and is mounted on a black marble base measuring 16 x 6 inches (41 x 15cm) and with a total height of 9 inches (23cm). Condition is very good, having just a single chip to the right hand end of the base.

'Vers le large' by Le Verrier
A huge spelter male figure hauling a boat on shore - a signed piece by Max Le Verrier. The stone base measures a huge 31.5 inches long by 8 inches deep (80x20cm). The man and boat slot into the base and are easily removeable. The patina is of the Le Verrier green/blue with bronze highlights. I have never seen this piece before, but it is in good original condition with the usual minor patina marks and minor chips to the base. A good original 1920s piece.

Girl & Deer by Chiparus
Large French spelter group by the famous Demetre Chiparus and signed to the black and white striated marble and brown onyx base, which measures 26 x 6 inches (66x15cm). Total height is 16 inches (41cm) and condition is good with some signes of ageing to the patina.

La Force by Joe de Roncourt
Wonderful French green patinated spelter bending bar man, signed to the base. Base measures 28.5 inches long by 6.5 deep and the man measures a total height of 17 inches (72cm x 17 x 43). In exceptionally good condition.
