Stylised Birds possibly Robj
There are no marks underneath this figure, but I believe it may be by Robj, as it is very similar to ones they produced. The bright yellow birds have a crackle glaze finish and are hand painted. They measure approx 8 x 6 inches and the condition is very good. A rare item.

Stylised Warthog by Nagel
A stylised craquelier warthog, signed Nagel in the base, and probably from the Saint Clement factory, circa 1930, and designed by Lemenceau. A similar piece can be viewed in the Craquelier book page 35. Also we have recently hired the same piece to Granada TV for the new series of Poirot to be shown around Christmas 2005 (keep an eye open for it in Poirots apartment). Condition is good but it does have some areas of underglaze pimpling which must have been there since new. He also has a slight graze to his back, but barely noticeable.
Ref: CH611 . . . £345 currently on loan to ITV TV for the Poirot series.
