Squirrel bookends by Fontinelle
Lovely blue crackleglaze ceramic bookends by Fontinelle, signed to the end of the base, and each measuring 7 inches high by 4.5 inches long (18x11cm). Condition is alas not perfect, with one squirrel having a chip on the tail and the other with a half-inch chip to the back of the base. Email me for pics.

Ceramic Buffalo Bookends
French blue marbled ceramic bookends each measuring approx 7.5 inches (20cm) long and in very good condition. No markings, so manufacturer unknown.

Bronze Squirrel Bookends
Lovely French stylised bronze bookends measuring 4.5 inches long, 3 inches deep and 5 inches high (11x8x13cm) and with their original silvered bronze patina. The bases are of verdigris marble and they appear to be unsigned, but probably by Laurent. Good condition.

Wood Greyhound Bookends
A pair of signed, stylised bookends, hand carved and in the form of leaping greyhounds. They each measure 12 inches (31cm) long by 8 inches (21cm) high and are signed Delle to the base. Condition is very good.

Stylised Squirrel Bookends
Wonderful terracotta squirrel bookends, signed R.G. to the base, and each measuring a large 10 inches high. Condition is very good with just 3 chips to the edges of the bases. Very stylish with modernist, cubist style and very unusual.

Hagenauer Style Horse Bookends
Stylised chromed horses on alabaster bases, each measuring 4 inches long and 3.5 inches high (10x9cm). They are in excellent original condition, unsigned, but possibly by Hagenauer.

Pierotte & Columbine Bookends
Lovely French spelter figures sitting on tortoiseshell celluloid bases with pearlised diamond patterning. Although unsigned they are probably by Sega and each measures 8 x 3.5 inches and approx 7 inches high (20x9x18cm). Condition is very good. Please email me for more pics.

'Depart' Bookends by Bouraine
Original 1930s tinted silver metal bookends mounted on black marble bases, made by the Le Verrier foundry, Paris and designed by Bouraine. Measure 8 inches (20cm) high and in very good original condition.

Columbine & Pierotte Bookends
Lovely French bronze 2-dimensional flat bookends of a Columbine & Pierotte standing in front of half-moons with the man playing the guitar and the lady holding a mask and fan. Bases are of sienna marble, and although unsigned possibly by Janle. 6.5 inches high, bases measure 4 x 2.5 inches (17x10x6cm). Excellent condition and unusual.

Dove Bookends by Sabino
Signed opaque glass bookends from France mounted on black glass bases. Condition is good with a couple of very minor nicks to the bases. Each show some signs of old glue around the base of the birds, so may have been refixed to the bases at some time. 6 inches high (15cm).
